RESOLUTION ON SOLIDARITY WITH GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF JAPAN (TUESDAY 12^TH APRIL 2011)

Expresses Complete solidarity of the people of Pakistan with the Government and people of Japan in coping with the effects of the Earthquake and the Tsunami.

Conveys the deep sympathies of the people of Pakistan for the families of those who lost their loved ones as well as to tose whose lives have been affected.

Expresses its admiration and deep respect for the courageous and resilient Japanese nation that has shown remarkable poise and dignity in braving the challenge.

Affirms conviction that the Japanese people will soon overcome the effects of the catastrophe and rebuild and fully recover from the effects of this natural disaster.

Remembers with gratitude the support and assistance given by Japan to Pakistan during the 2005 Earthquake and 2010 Floods.

Reaffirms the friendship and excellent relations existing between the people of the two countries.

Reiterates the readiness of the people of Pakistan to stand by the people of Japan and assist in any manner possible.
