NA Standing Committee on Science and Technology meets

THE COMMITTEE ENDORSED ALL THE BUDGETARY PROPOSALS RELATING TO PUBLIC SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (PSDP) FOR THE NEXT FINANCIAL YEAR 2019-20.


2nd meeting of the Standing Committee on Science and Technology was held on 26th February, 2019 at 02:30 p.m in Committee Room of PCSIR, G-5 Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sajid Mehdi, MNA.
 
The Committee discussed the budgetary proposals of the ministry for the current Financial Year 2019-20. An amount of Rs. 3.9 Billion demanded by the Ministry and its attached departments has been endorsed/ approved by the Standing Committee relating to Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the next Financial Year 2019-20.
 
The Committee was further briefed about the performance and working of the ministry and its attached departments. The Committee decided to get briefing of all attached departments of the ministry separately.
 
The following MNAs, Engr. Usman Khan Tarakai, Mr. Jawad Hussain, Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti, Mr. Umer Aslam Khan, Mr. Farrukh Habib, Mr. Abdul Shakoor Shad, Ms. Sobia Kamal Khan, Ch. Muhammad Ashraf, Ms. Zaib Jaffar, Ms. Samina Matloob, Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, Mr. Sikandar Ali Rahoupoto and Mr. Naveed Aamir Jeeva besides the officials of the Ministry attended the meeting.
