Islamabad, 5th March, 2024:   Chairman Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Hon. Zhao Leji on behalf of the Standing Committee and himself extended heartfelt congratulations to Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on his election as the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan.

The Chairman Zhao Leji in a letter addressed to Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, conveyed his sincere good wishes and  emphasized the unparalleled friendship existing between Pakistan and China. He highlighted that this deep-rooted friendship reflects the genuine love and respect shared by the people of both nations, "China and Pakistan are true friends who share each other’s joys and sorrows”, read the letter.

Undeterred by the evolving international landscape, Chairman Zhao Leji emphasized the unshakeable nature of the iron friendship between Pakistan and China. He stressed that the core interests of both countries are interwoven, and their shared stance on crucial regional and international matters further strengthens their bond.

Chairman Zhao Leji expressed his eagerness to enhance cooperation and public relations between the National Assembly of Pakistan and the People's Congress of China. He reiterated his commitment to advancing the enduring cooperative partnership between the two nations for the development and prosperity of their respective peoples.

In response, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended his sincere gratitude to Chairman Zhao Leiji and the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of China.Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq acknowledged the significance of the strong friendship between the two nations and expressed his commitment to further strengthening the ties that bind Pakistan and China.
