Islamabad; November 16, 2017: Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly have condemned the incident of firing by unknown assailant on Police Vehicle  at Quetta resulting assassination of Superintendent of Police Quetta,  Muhammad Ilyas, his wife, son and grandson, last night.

In their separate statements, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker termed this incident of firing a barbaric and shameful act of terrorism and expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives. They said that the elements involved in such activities were the enemies of humanity and the country. They said that these cowardly acts could not deter over firms resolve against terrorism. The Speaker and Deputy Speaker asked the Law Enforcing Agencies to arrest the miscreants involved in this heinous act and bring them to justice. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the souls of SP, Muhammad Ilayas  and other martyred in eternal peace and sympathized with bereaved family. They also prayed for early recovery of injured.
