Islamabad, 22nd April, 2016: A meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges met today in Committee Room No. 7, Fourth Floor, Parliament House, Islamabad, under the Chairmanship of Ch. Asad-ur-Rehman, MNA to discuss the following agenda:
 
i)    Confirmation of minutes of previous meeting of the Committee held on 31-3-2016.

ii)    Question of Privilege raised by Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, MNA regarding non-construction of safety-wall of MNAs Hostel, Islamabad, by the CDA.

iii)    Question of Privilege raised by Ms. Shahjehan, MNA regarding misbehavior of Mr. Shahid Nadeem Baloch Ex-IGP, Sindh with the Hon.Member.

iv)    Question of Privilege raised by Mr. Akram Khan Durrani, MNA regarding misbehavior of Mr.Boota, ASI, Traffic Police, Islamabad.

v)      Question of Privilege raised by Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, MNA, regarding misbehavior of Agha Muhammad Yousuf, DPO Bhakkar and Mr. Muhammad Afzal Qataali Khail, SHO Kallur Kot, Bhakkar.

v)    Amendment in rule-48, rule 69 and rule 112 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007 proposed by Sheikh Salahuddin, MNA.

vii)    Question of Privilege raised by Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur, MNA regarding misbehavior of Mr. Sattar Memon, District Food Controller, District Tando Muhamamd Khan with the Hon. Member.
 
2.    The Committee confirmed the minutes of its previous meeting held on 31-3-2016. While discussing the Questions of Privileges and amendment as mentioned above, the Committee after thorough discussion and satisfactory reply by the concerned, disposed of the Question of Privileges of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Mr. Abdul Majid Khan Khanan Khail, Sheikh Salahuddin, MNAs. The Committee pended the Question of Privileges of Ms.Shahjehan and Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur, MNAs.
 
3.    The Committee also added the name of Mr.S.A Iqbal Quadri, MNA in the composition of sub-Committee constituted on the issue of perks and privileges of the Members of the National Assembly.
 
4.    Chaudhry Khadim Hussain, Rana Umer Nazir Khan, Ch. Bilal Ahmed Virk, Mr. Najaf Abbas Sial, Mr. Azhar Qayyum Nahra, Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, Sheikh Muhammad Akram, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar, Ms. Kiran Haider, Ms. Maiza Hameed, Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur, Ms. Shagufta Jumani, Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan,Mr. S. A. Iqbal Quadri, Mr. Muhammad Ali Rashid, MNAs attended the meeting.

5.    From the Movers, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Sheikh Salahuddin, MNAs attended the meeting.
