Participants of International Investment Conference Call on Deputy Speaker NA

Islamabad October 28, 2014:   Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly has said that pro-investment policies of the present government has created conducive environment for the local and foreign investment. He urged the local and foreign investors to avail the incentives and put in their investments in Pakistan in diverse fields of economy.    He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of participants of International Investment Conference who called on him in the Parliament House today.
 
The Deputy Speaker said that Pakistani expatriates are an asset of the country and they were rendering valuable contributions in the development and prosperity of the country.  Their aspirations for their homeland were commendable, “he added”. He further said that Pakistani expatriate were true ambassadors of the country.    He said the western media has portrayed a negative image of Pakistan in western world.   He stressed upon the participants to work for highlighting the soft image of the country abroad. He urged upon the overseas Pakistanis investors to convince the business community for investment in Pakistan. 
 
The participants of the delegation appreciated the Government's initiatives for arranging the conference. They said that Pakistan is a safe heaven for investment. They appreciated the policies of the government terming it a way forward to bring Pakistan on path of progress. They expressed their desire to invest in Pakistan and wanted to contribute in progress and prosperity.
