Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah Visit 104 Additional Family Suites Project, Review Final Stages of Completion

Islamabad, , 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, accompanied by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, visited the project of 104 additional family suites adjacent to Parliament Lodges to review the progress of work, which has entered its final stages of completion.
During the visit, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker inspected the quality of finishing work, furniture, and furnishing of the suites. Senior officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) briefed Speaker and Deputy Speaker on the progress and the remaining work required to finalize the project.
Initiated in 2011 and originally scheduled for completion in 2013, the project had remained stalled for nearly a decade. It was subsequently revived through the keen interest of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. NA Speaker's sustained attention to the project's progress helped accelerate construction work, bringing the long-delayed project closer to completion.
The Secretary National Assembly, Special Secretary (Parliamentary Diplomacy and Protocol), other senior officers of the National Assembly Secretariat, and senior officials of the CDA were also present during the visit.

اسلام آباد، 20 اکتوبر 2026ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ کے ہمراہ پارلیمنٹ لاجز سے ملحقہ 104 اضافی فیملی سوئٹس کے منصوبے کا دورہ کیا اور وہاں جاری فنشنگ، فرنیچر کی تنصیب اور تزئین و آرائش کے کام کا جائزہ لیا۔ اس موقع پر کیپیٹل ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) کے سینئر حکام نے اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی کو منصوبے پر ہونے والی پیش رفت اور باقی ماندہ کام کی تکمیل کے حوالے سے بریفنگ دی۔
اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق اور ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے سوئٹس میں فنشنگ، فرنیچر، تزئین و آرائش کے معیار کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا۔
2011ء میں شروع ہونے والا یہ منصوبہ 2013ء میں مکمل ہونا تھا، تاہم تقریباً ایک دہائی تک تعطل کا شکار رہا۔ اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق کی جانب سے منصوبے کی پیش رفت پر مسلسل توجہ کے باعث تعمیراتی کام میں تیزی آئی، جس کے نتیجے میں طویل عرصے سے زیر التوا 104 فیملی سوئٹس کا منصوبہ اب تکمیل کے آخری مراحل میں پہنچ چکا ہے۔
اس موقع پر سیکرٹری قومی اسمبلی، اسپیشل سیکرٹری (پارلیمانی سفارت کاری و پروٹوکول)، قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کے دیگر اعلیٰ افسران اور سی ڈی اے کے سینئر حکام بھی موجود تھے۔
