Teachers’ Role Central to Building an Educated and Responsible Society, Speaker NA

 

Islamabad, October 4, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, while paying tribute to the invaluable services rendered by the teachers, said that teachers play a central role in building an educated and civilized society. He said that teachers not only impart knowledge and awareness to the new generation but also inculcate in them a sense of their national responsibilities and duties. He stressed the need to recognize and appreciate the services of teachers and ensure respect for their profession and protection of their rights. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed these views on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, observed annually on October 5 across the world.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the promotion of quality education is essential for a bright future of the country, and teachers play a key role play in achieving this objective. He said that, keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, teachers must be equipped with modern teaching tools and technologies, provided opportunities for professional development and access to research, and supported by a conducive teaching environment and necessary facilities.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that a strong education system can help build a knowledgeable, educated and capable workforce, which is essential for the country’s economic and social development.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that effective measures to address the issues faced by teachers, protect their rights and enhance their professional capabilities are the need of the hour. NA Speaker reaffirmed that Parliament would continue to play its active role in protecting teachers’ rights, promoting education and ensuring better educational opportunities for the youth.

 

In his message, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah said that teachers play a vital role in imparting knowledge and nurturing the intellectual and moral foundations of society. He said that recognizing the services of teachers and promoting respect and appreciation for their contributions are hallmarks of a civilized and education-oriented society. Paying tribute to teachers on World Teachers’ Day, he said that their dedication, hard work and guidance are instrumental in shaping the future of the country.

اسلام آباد، 4 اکتوبر 2026ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے اساتذہ کی خدمات کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ تعلیم یافتہ، باشعور اور مہذب معاشرے کی تشکیل میں اساتذہ کا کردار مرکزی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اساتذہ نئی نسل کو علم و شعور سے آراستہ کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ انہیں ان کی قومی ذمہ داریوں اور فرائض سے بھی آگاہ کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے اساتذہ کی خدمات کو قدر و احترام کی نگاہ سے دیکھنے اور ان کے حقوق کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے ان خیالات کا اظہار عالمی یوم اساتذہ کے موقع پر کیا، جو ہر سال دنیا بھر میں 5 اکتوبر کو منایا جاتا ہے۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ ملک کے روشن مستقبل کے لیے معیاری تعلیم کا فروغ ناگزیر ہے اور اس مقصد کے حصول میں اساتذہ کا کردار بنیادی اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عصرِ حاضر کے تقاضوں کے پیشِ نظر اساتذہ کو جدید تعلیمی نظام، ٹیکنالوجی اور تحقیق سے ہم آہنگ کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ سازگار تدریسی ماحول اور ضروری سہولیات کی فراہمی بھی یقینی بنانا ناگزیر ہے۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ ایک مضبوط تعلیمی نظام کے ذریعے باشعور، تعلیم یافتہ اور باصلاحیت معاشرے کی تشکیل ممکن ہے، جو ملک کی معاشی و سماجی ترقی کے لیے ناگزیر ہے۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ اساتذہ کے مسائل کے حل، ان کے حقوق کے تحفظ اور ان کی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں میں اضافے کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پارلیمان اساتذہ کے حقوق کے تحفظ، تعلیم کے فروغ اور نوجوان نسل کے لیے بہتر تعلیمی مواقع کی فراہمی کے لیے اپنا فعال کردار ادا کرتی رہے گی۔

 

اس موقع پر ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے کہا کہ اساتذہ علم کی روشنی پھیلانے اور معاشرے کی فکری و اخلاقی بنیاد مضبوط بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اساتذہ کی خدمات کا اعتراف اور ان کے احترام کا فروغ ایک مہذب اور تعلیم دوست معاشرے کی پہچان ہے۔ انہوں نے اساتذہ کو عالمی یومِ اساتذہ پر خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کی محنت اور رہنمائی نئی نسل کی کامیابی اور ملک کے روشن مستقبل کی ضامن ہے۔
