Islamabad: 7th  September 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, in his message on the occasion of Navy Day, paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Navy for their invaluable services and sacrifices in defence of the motherland. He said that the Pakistan Navy has always demonstrated unwavering resolve, courage and professional excellence in safeguarding the country's maritime boundaries and national sovereignty. He said that Navy Day reminds the nation of the sacrifices and services of the brave sons of the soil who laid down their lives in the line of duty for the defence of Pakistan. He said their sacrifices are a source of pride and inspiration for the entire nation.

 

While paying tribute to the outstanding performance of the Pakistan Navy during the 1965 war, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Operation Dwarka remains a significant chapter in the history of the Pakistan Navy. He noted that the operation targeted important enemy coastal installations and radar facilities. He also recalled the operational role of the submarine PNS Ghazi, which effectively performed its responsibilities on the maritime front and maintained pressure on enemy naval movements.

 

The Speaker said that during Marka-e-Haq, the Pakistan Navy also discharged its responsibilities in safeguarding the country’s maritime frontiers and national defence. He said that, under the leadership of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Pakistan Navy demonstrated professionalism, resolve and courage in safeguarding national defence and security. He said that the joint professional capabilities, coordination and national spirit demonstrated by the Armed Forces of Pakistan reaffirmed the country’s capacity to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the strategic importance of maritime routes for Pakistan's economy, trade and national security. He said that, in view of the country's growing maritime interests, the responsibilities of the Pakistan Navy are of vital importance. He appreciated the Pakistan Navy for its commendable services in protecting the country's maritime boundaries and national sovereignty. 

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the entire nation salutes the martyrs, veterans and brave personnel of the Pakistan Navy and will always remember their sacrifices and services with the highest respect and honour. He prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the martyrs and bless Pakistan with lasting peace, security, progress and prosperity.

 

Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, on the occasion of Navy Day, paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Navy, saying that during the 1965 war, the brave personnel of the Pakistan Navy demonstrated courage, professional excellence and an enduring spirit of patriotism. He said that Operation Dwarka remains a memorable chapter in the history of the Pakistan Navy, demonstrating the capability and resolve of the country’s naval forces. He said that Navy Day provides an opportunity to remember the sacrifices of national heroes and to renew the collective resolve to remain united in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty, security and national interests.

 

Deputy Speaker said that during Marka-e-Haq, the Pakistan Navy played an effective role in safeguarding the country’s maritime frontiers and national security. He said that the professionalism and sense of duty demonstrated by the Pakistan Navy once again reaffirmed the capability of Pakistan’s Armed Forces to meet every challenge in defence of the country. He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs and veterans are a matter of pride for the nation and their services and sacrifices will always be remembered.

 

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah prayed to Almighty Allah for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, and peace, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan.

اسلام آباد، 7 ستمبر 2026ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے یومِ بحریہ کے موقع پر پاک بحریہ کے شہداء و غازیوں کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پاک بحریہ نے دفاعِ وطن اور ملکی سمندری حدود کے تحفظ کے لیے ہمیشہ عزم، جرأت اور پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیت کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یومِ بحریہ ہمیں پاک بحریہ کے ان بہادر سپوتوں کی قربانیوں اور خدمات کی یاد دلاتا ہے جنہوں نے وطن کے دفاع کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے 1965ء کی جنگ میں پاک بحریہ کی کارکردگی کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ آپریشن دوارکا پاک بحریہ کی تاریخ کا ایک درخشاں باب ہے، جس میں دشمن کی اہم ساحلی تنصیبات اور ریڈار اسٹیشن کو نشانہ بنایا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس جنگ کے دوران آبدوز غازی نے بحری محاذ پر اپنی آپریشنل ذمہ داریاں مؤثر انداز میں انجام دیتے ہوئے دشمن کی بحری نقل و حرکت کو محدود کیئے رکھا۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ معرکۂ حق کے دوران بھی پاک بحریہ نے ملکی سمندری حدود کے تحفظ اور قومی دفاع کے لیے اپنی ذمہ داریاں بھرپور انداز میں انجام دیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ چیف آف نیول اسٹاف ایڈمرل نوید اشرف کی قیادت میں پاک بحریہ نے پیشہ ورانہ مہارت، عزم اور بہادری کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے ملکی دفاع اور سلامتی کے تحفظ میں بھرپور کردار ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ افواجِ پاکستان کی مشترکہ پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیت، باہمی تعاون اور قومی جذبے نے ثابت کیا کہ پاکستان اپنی خودمختاری اور علاقائی سالمیت کے دفاع کی مکمل صلاحیت رکھتا ہے۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی معیشت، تجارت اور تزویراتی سلامتی میں سمندری راستوں کی بنیادی اہمیت کے پیشِ نظر پاک بحریہ کا کردار ا نتہائی اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔ پاک بحریہ ملک کی سمندری حدود اور قومی خودمختاری کے تحفظ کے لیے قابلِ تحسین خدمات انجام دے رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پوری قوم پاک بحریہ کے شہداء، غازیوں اور بہادر جوانوں کو سلام پیش کرتی ہے اور ان کی قربانیوں اور خدمات کو ہمیشہ قدر و احترام کی نگاہ سے یاد رکھے گی۔ انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے شہداء کے درجات کی بلندی اور پاکستان کو امن، سلامتی اور ترقی و خوشحالی عطا فرمانے کی دعا کی۔

 

ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے یومِ بحریہ کے موقع پر پاک بحریہ کے شہداء و غازیوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ 1965 کی جنگ میں پاک بحریہ کے بہادر سپوتوں نے جرأت، پیشہ ورانہ مہارت اور قومی جذبے کی لازوال داسستانیں رقم کیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ آپریشن دوارکا پاک بحریہ کی تاریخ کا ایک یادگار باب ہے، جس نے دشمن کے خلاف ہماری بحری قوت کی صلاحیت اور عزم کو نمایاں کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یومِ بحریہ ہمیں اپنے قومی ہیروز کی قربانیوں کو یاد کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ اس عزم کی تجدید کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے کہ پاکستان کی خودمختاری، سلامتی اور قومی مفادات کے تحفظ کے لیے ہم متحد رہیں گے۔

 

ڈپٹی اسپیکر نے کہا کہ معرکۂ حق کے دوران بھی پاک بحریہ نے ملکی سمندری حدود کے دفاع اور قومی سلامتی کے تحفظ میں مؤثر کردار ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاک بحریہ کی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں نے ایک بار پھر ثابت کیا کہ پاکستان کی مسلح افواج وطن کے دفاع کے لیے ہر چیلنج کا مقابلہ کرنے کی بھرپور صلاحیت رکھتی ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ شہداء اور غازیوں کی قربانیاں قوم کے لیے باعثِ فخر ہیں۔ قوم اپنے شہداء کی خدمات و قربانیوں کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھے گی۔ ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے شہداء کے درجات کی بلندی اور پاکستان کو امن، سلامتی اور استحکام عطا فرمانے کی دعا کی۔
