Islamabad, August 25, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt felicitations to the entire Muslim Ummah, particularly the people of Pakistan, on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, stating that the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ is a source of mercy for all humanity. He said that the noble life and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is a perfect model of love, brotherhood, justice, tolerance, forbearance and good character for humanity.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that through his exemplary conduct, the Holy Prophet ﷺ taught humanity the values of peace, equality, fraternity and respect for human dignity. He said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ provides an opportunity to renew our commitment to incorporating the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ into our individual and collective lives and to promoting love, brotherhood, mutual respect and tolerance in society.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ is an essential part of our faith, and the true requirement of this love is that we follow his teachings and exemplary way of life in our own lives.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ are not confined to any particular nation, class or religion; rather, they embody a universal message of mercy, justice, equality, tolerance and respect for all humanity. He said that the Holy Prophet ﷺ accorded fundamental importance to justice, human dignity and the protection of rights instead of discriminating among people on the basis of religion, colour, race or status, and treated both Muslims and non-Muslims with justice, kindness and tolerance.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is not merely an occasion for expressing joy and devotion, but also a day for self-accountability, self-reform and renewing our commitment to following the noble example of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He said that there was a need to emulate the Prophetic model in our character, dealings and collective conduct. He said that the challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah could only be addressed through unity, mutual respect and adherence to the exemplary way of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He stressed the need to promote unity and solidarity among the Muslim Ummah by rising above sectarianism, prejudices and mutual differences.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq called upon religious scholars and spiritual leaders to play their role, in the light of the teachings of the Seerah, in promoting brotherhood, tolerance, forbearance and inter-sectarian harmony in society. He stressed the need to acquaint the younger generation with the golden principles of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the noble life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ provide comprehensive guidance on the rights, dignity and protection of women, children and all segments of society. He said that incidents of violence against women and children were a matter of serious concern for all of us. He stressed that, by following the exemplary conduct of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, we must collectively fulfil our responsibility to provide women with dignity, security and equal opportunities and to ensure the education, upbringing, health and protection of children. He said that for the establishment of a civilised and peaceful society, it was essential to ensure the complete protection of the rights, dignity and honour of every member of society, particularly women and children.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that adherence to the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ could help promote peace, brotherhood and collective welfare in society.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Almighty Allah to bless Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah with peace, progress, prosperity, unity and stability, and to grant the nation the strength and guidance to follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also felicitated the Muslim Ummah and the people of Pakistan on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, saying that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ is a source of guidance and enlightenment for all humanity. He said that the Holy Prophet ﷺ taught the principles of justice, equality, brotherhood, tolerance and love for humanity, and that adherence to these principles could promote peace and fraternity in society.
Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ teaches us to strengthen the unity of the Muslim Ummah and national cohesion by following the noble example of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He said that, while avoiding sectarianism and mutual hatred, there was an urgent need to promote unity, tolerance and mutual respect. He prayed that Almighty Allah bless Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah with peace, unity and prosperity, and grant us the ability to act upon the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Ameen.
