Islamabad, August 24, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Hina Javed, expressing deep concern and sorrow over the tragic incident. Hina Javed served at the National Assembly under the National Information Technology Board (NITB) from 2019 until June 2026. The Speaker said that the tragic incident was deeply distressing and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has expressed concern over increasing incident of violence against women. He also  appreciated the role of the Women Parliamentary Caucus in taking up the matter of Hina Javed’s brutal murder and assured the Caucus of full possible cooperation from the National Assembly in monitoring the case. He  referred the matter to the National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior and directed the committee to submit a report on the tragic incident.

The House also prayed that Allah Almighty may bless the departed soul with eternal peace and grant the family the patience to bear this irreparable loss.
