Pakistan Will Continue Its Principled Political, Diplomatic and Moral Support for the Kashmiri People's Right to Self-Determination: Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq

 

Islamabad, 18 July 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, in his message on the occasion of 'Accession to Pakistan Day', has stated that this day is a symbol of the Kashmiri people's profound attachment to Pakistan, their shared historical, religious, cultural, and civilizational bonds, and their unshakeable resolve to attain the right to self-determination. He said that the Pakistani nation will always stand shoulder to shoulder with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their just struggle and will continue to extend wholehearted support to their legitimate aspirations.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that on July 19, 1947, through a resolution passed at the historic session of the All–Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference in Srinagar, the resolve to accede to Pakistan was formally expressed, and it is in commemoration of this momentous occasion that 'Accession to Pakistan Day' is observed every year. He said that this historic resolution was a true reflection of the collective sentiments of the Muslims of the subcontinent, the Two-Nation Theory, and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, and it came to occupy the status of a landmark milestone in the history of the Kashmir cause.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the dispute of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a longstanding issue inextricably linked to lasting peace and stability in South Asia, whose just and durable resolution in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people is an absolute necessity. He said that the international community must take effective cognizance of the grave human rights violations in IIOJK and play its due role in ensuring that the Kashmiri people are accorded their fundamental right to self-determination.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the Parliament of Pakistan has always stood united in its support for the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination. In this context, the Parliament has passed several unanimous resolutions against human rights violations in IIOJK, drawing the attention of the international community to this longstanding dispute, and will continue to raise the Kashmiri people's voice effectively on every national, regional and international forum. He said that the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir is playing an active role in highlighting the Kashmir issue effectively at national and international levels and conveying the voice of the Kashmiri people to the global community.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reiterated the resolve that Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic, and moral support for the Kashmiri people at every level. He said that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people for freedom, justice, and the right to self-determination will never go in vain.

 

On this occasion, Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah said that 'Accession to Pakistan Day' is a symbol of the strong historical bonds, mutual trust and shared values between the Kashmiri people and the Pakistani nation. He said that the Kashmiri people have rendered unparalleled sacrifices for freedom and the right to self-determination over the past several decades, and the entire nation salutes them. He further said that the Parliament of Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiri people and will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support until the attainment of their just rights.

پاکستان کشمیری عوام کے حقِ خودارادیت کی اصولی، سیاسی، سفارتی اور اخلاقی حمایت جاری رکھے گا، اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق

 

اسلام آباد، 18 جولائی، 2026ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے یومِ الحاقِ پاکستان کے موقع پر اپنے پیغام میں کہا ہے کہ یہ دن کشمیری عوام کی پاکستان سے گہری وابستگی، مشترکہ تاریخی، مذہبی، ثقافتی اور تہذیبی رشتوں اور حقِ خودارادیت کے لیے ان کے غیر متزلزل عزم کی علامت ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستانی قوم اپنے کشمیری بھائیوں اور بہنوں کی منصفانہ جدوجہد میں ہمیشہ ان کے شانہ بشانہ کھڑی رہے گی اور ان کی جائز امنگوں کی بھرپور حمایت جاری رکھے گی۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ 19 جولائی 1947ء کو سری نگر میں آل جموں و کشمیر مسلم کانفرنس کے تاریخی اجلاس میں منظور کی جانے والی قرارداد کے ذریعے ریاست جموں و کشمیر کے پاکستان سے الحاق کے عزم کا اظہار کیا گیا، جس کی یاد میں ہر سال یومِ الحاقِ پاکستان منایا جاتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ تاریخی قرارداد برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کے اجتماعی احساسات، دو قومی نظریے اور کشمیری عوام کی امنگوں کی آئینہ دار تھی، جس نے مسئلہ کشمیر کی تاریخ میں ایک اہم سنگِ میل کی حیثیت اختیار کی۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ بھارت کے غیر قانونی زیر قبضہ جموں و کشمیر کا تنازع جنوبی ایشیا میں پائیدار امن و استحکام سے جڑا ہوا ایک دیرینہ مسئلہ ہے، جس کا منصفانہ اور پائیدار حل اقوامِ متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی متعلقہ قراردادوں اور کشمیری عوام کی امنگوں کے مطابق ناگزیر ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عالمی برادری کو چاہیے کہ وہ مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں انسانی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزیوں کا مؤثر نوٹس لے اور کشمیری عوام کو ان کا بنیادی حق حقِ خودارادیت دلانے کے لیے اپنا کردار ادا کرے۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی پارلیمان کشمیری عوام کے حقِ خودارادیت کی حمایت میں ہمیشہ متحد رہی ہے۔ اس تناظر میں پاکستان کی پارلیمان نے مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں کے خلاف متعدد متفقہ قراردادیں منظور کر کے عالمی برادری کی توجہ اس دیرینہ مسئلے کی طرف مبذول کرائی ہے، اور آئندہ بھی ہر قومی، علاقائی اور بین الاقوامی فورم پر ان کی آواز مؤثر انداز میں اٹھاتی رہے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پارلیمانی کمیٹی برائے کشمیر مسئلہ کشمیر کو قومی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر مؤثر انداز میں اجاگر کرنے اور کشمیری عوام کی آواز عالمی برادری تک پہنچانے کے لیے فعال کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ 

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ پاکستان کشمیری عوام کی سیاسی، سفارتی اور اخلاقی حمایت ہر سطح پر جاری رکھے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کشمیری عوام کی آزادی، انصاف اور حقِ خودارادیت کے لیے دی جانے والی قربانیاں کبھی رائیگاں نہیں جائیں گی۔ 

 

اس موقع پر ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ یومِ الحاقِ پاکستان کشمیری عوام اور پاکستانی قوم کے درمیان مضبوط تاریخی رشتوں، باہمی اعتماد اور مشترکہ اقدار کی علامت ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کشمیری عوام نے گزشتہ کئی دہائیوں سے آزادی اور حقِ خودارادیت کے لیے بے مثال قربانیاں دی ہیں جنہیں پوری قوم سلام پیش کرتی ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پاکستان کی پارلیمان کشمیری عوام کے ساتھ اپنی غیر متزلزل یکجہتی کا اعادہ کرتی ہے اور ان کے جائز حقوق کے حصول تک اپنی سیاسی، سفارتی اور اخلاقی حمایت جاری رکھے گی۔
