Islamabad, July 6, 2026:: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid rich tribute to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider) on the occasion of his 27th martyrdom anniversary, stating that the valiant soldier laid down his life while defending the motherland. He said that Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed's exemplary courage, unwavering sense of duty, and supreme sacrifice have earned him an enduring place in the nation's history and remain a source of immense pride for every Pakistani.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that on July 7, 1999, during the Kargil conflict, Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed embraced martyrdom while bravely repelling repeated enemy attacks with exceptional courage, steadfastness, and professional excellence. Despite intense shelling and extremely challenging battlefield conditions, he continued to defend his post until his last breath, foiling the enemy's designs through his extraordinary resilience and determination. NA Speaker remarked that the mountains of Kargil still stand as silent witnesses to his remarkable bravery and sacrifice.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the officers and personnel of Pakistan's Armed Forces have always rendered unparalleled sacrifices in defence of the country's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. He stated that the entire nation salutes its martyrs and holds their families in the highest esteem for their patience, resilience, and invaluable sacrifices. He added that the sacrifices of the nation's martyrs continue to strengthen the spirit of national unity, stability, and the collective resolve to safeguard the homeland.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that the nation will always remember the sacrifices made by its brave defenders in the line of duty.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bless Pakistan with lasting peace, security, progress, and prosperity.

 

Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also paid rich tribute to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, and stated that his courage, devotion to duty, and unwavering loyalty to the motherland serve as a shining example for future generations. He said that the nation remains the custodian of the legacy of its martyrs and will always remember their extraordinary sacrifices with profound respect, honour, and pride. He further remarked that the matchless sacrifices of the nation's martyrs constitute the foundation of Pakistan's security, freedom, and sovereignty.

 

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed the highest ranks in Jannah and bless Pakistan with enduring peace, stability, and security.

اسلام آباد، 6 جولائی، 2026ء؛ اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے حوالدار لالک جان شہید نشانِ حیدر کی 27 ویں برسی کے موقع پر انہیں خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ حوالدار لالک جان شہید نے مادر وطن کے دفاع کے لیے کارگل سیکٹر پر اپنی پوسٹ کا دفاع کرتے ہوئے جان کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حوالدار لالک جان شہید نے فرض شناسی اور بے مثال جرات کی لازوال داستان رقم کی جو قوم کے لیے باعث فخر ہے۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ حوالدار لالک جان شہید نے 7 جولائی 1999ء کو کارگل جنگ کے دوران دشمن کے مسلسل حملوں کا انتہائی بہادری، استقامت اور پیشہ ورانہ مہارت سے مقابلہ کرتے ہوئے جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ شدید گولہ باری اور انتہائی دشوار حالات کے باوجود حوالدار لالک جان شہید نے اپنی پوسٹ کا آخری دم تک دفاع کیا اور دشمن کے ناپاک عزائم کو خاک میں ملایا۔ اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ کارگل کے پہاڑ آج بھی حوالدار لالک جان شہید کی بہادری اور جرات کی گواہی دیتے ہیں۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ ہماری مسلح افواج کے افسران اور جوانوں نے ہمیشہ قومی خودمختاری، آزادی اور سرحدوں کے تحفظ کے لیے بے مثال قربانیاں دی ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پوری قوم اپنے شہداء کو سلام پیش کرتی ہے اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کے صبر، استقامت اور قربانیوں کو قدر و احترام کی نگاہ سے دیکھتی ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ شہداء کی قربانیاں قومی اتحاد، استحکام اور دفاعِ وطن کے عزم کو مزید مضبوط بناتی ہیں۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ قوم اپنے محافظوں کی قربانیوں کو کبھی فراموش نہیں کرے گی۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے اللہ تعالی سے حوالدار لالک جان شہید کے درجات کی بلندی اور ملک کی سلامتی، ترقی و خوشحالی کے لیے دعا کی۔

 

اس موقع پر ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے حوالدار لالک جان شہید کو خراج عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کی جرات، فرض شناسی اور وطن سے غیر متزلزل وفاداری آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ایک روشن مثال ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ قوم اپنے شہداء کی قربانیوں کی امین ہے اور ان کے عظیم کارناموں کو ہمیشہ عزت، احترام اور فخر کے ساتھ یاد رکھے گی۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ شہداء کی لازوال قربانیاں ہماری قومی سلامتی، آزادی اور خودمختاری کی مضبوط بنیاد ہیں۔

 

ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کی کہ وہ حوالدار لالک جان شہید کے درجات بلند فرمائے اور پاکستان کو امن، استحکام اور سلامتی کا گہوارہ بنائے۔
