Islamabad, June 30, 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of precious lives of young students in the roof collapse of a tuition centre building in the Kahna area of Lahore.

Expressing deep anguish over the heartbreaking incident, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the untimely demise of innocent students is an irreparable loss not only for their families but for the entire nation. He also expressed grave concern over the critical condition of several students who sustained injuries and those who are being rescued from beneath the debris as rescue operations continue.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed that Allah Almighty may elevate the ranks of the departed students among the martyrs (Shuhada), grant them His infinite mercy, and bless their families with patience, fortitude, and strength to endure this immense tragedy.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also prayed for the swift and complete recovery of all injured students and expressed hope that those still trapped beneath the rubble would be rescued safely. He praised the rescue personnel and emergency responders for their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in the ongoing rescue operation.
