The Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights firmly believes that every child has the fundamental right to life, protection, dignity, and security. We urge the concerned authorities to conduct a transparent, impartial, and expeditious investigation and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice without delay. The perpetrators of such horrific crimes must be held fully accountable in accordance with the law.
This tragic incident underscores the urgent need to further strengthen child protection mechanisms, enhance institutional coordination, and ensure effective implementation of laws designed to safeguard children from all forms of abuse, exploitation, and violence.
We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to advancing and protecting the rights of children and call upon all stakeholders to work collectively towards creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for every child in Pakistan.
