Islamabad, 15 June 2026: Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, at Parliament House, Islamabad. During the meeting, the two dignitaries held detailed discussions on Pakistan-Iran relations, matters of mutual interest, the promotion of parliamentary cooperation, the regional situation, and issues relating to peace and stability.

 

During the meeting, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Iranian leadership and people on the peace agreement reached between Iran and the United States, warmly welcoming this significant development. He described the agreement as a positive, encouraging, and historic step towards promoting peace, stability, mutual trust, and constructive diplomacy in the region.

 

NA Speaker stated that the peace agreement between Iran and the United States would not only help reduce tensions in the region but would also contribute significantly to the establishment of sustainable peace, security, and economic stability at both regional and global levels. He expressed the hope that the parties would continue to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy in resolving differences in the future.

 

Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam appreciated the sincere efforts of Pakistan’s political and military leadership in facilitating the ceasefire and peace agreement between Iran and the United States. He remarked that Pakistan has consistently played a positive and constructive role in promoting peace and resolving conflicts.

 

The Iranian Ambassador congratulated the Government of Pakistan, Parliament, and military leadership on their successful diplomatic efforts and stated that the government and people of Iran would always value and remember Pakistan’s sincere cooperation, goodwill, and effective role in promoting peace. He further noted that the contributions of Pakistan’s political, parliamentary, diplomatic, and military leadership toward achieving the ceasefire and peace agreement between Iran and the United States were commendable and of great significance for fostering peace and stability in the region.

 

Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam, accompanied by his delegation, also observed the proceedings of the National Assembly session. He appreciated the thoughtful remarks made regarding the Iran–United States peace agreement by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, and other Members of the National Assembly.

 

 

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق سے پاکستان میں اسلامی جمہوریہ ایران کے سفیر رضا امیری مقدم کی ملاقات

 

اسلام آباد، 15 جون 2026; اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق سے پاکستان میں تعینات اسلامی جمہوریہ ایران کے سفیر رضا امیری مقدم نے پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس اسلام آباد میں ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات کے دوران دونوں رہنماؤں نے پاک۔ایران تعلقات، باہمی دلچسپی کے امور، پارلیمانی روابط کے فروغ، علاقائی صورتحال اور امن و استحکام سے متعلق اہم امور پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا۔

 

ملاقات کے دوران اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان طے پانے والے امن معاہدے پر ایرانی قیادت اور عوام کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے اس اہم پیش رفت کا بھرپور خیرمقدم کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ معاہدہ خطے میں امن، استحکام، باہمی اعتماد اور تعمیری سفارتکاری کے فروغ کی جانب ایک مثبت، حوصلہ افزا اور تاریخی قدم ہے۔اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان امن معاہدہ نہ صرف خطے میں کشیدگی کے خاتمے میں معاون ثابت ہوگا بلکہ علاقائی اور عالمی سطح پر پائیدار امن، سلامتی اور اقتصادی استحکام کے قیام میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔ انہوں نے اس امید کا اظہار کیا کہ فریقین مستقبل میں بھی مذاکرات اور سفارتکاری کے ذریعے اختلافات کے حل کو ترجیح دیں گے۔

 

ایرانی سفیر رضا امیری مقدم نے ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان جنگ بندی اور امن معاہدے کے حصول میں پاکستان کی حکومت، پارلیمان، سیاسی و سفارتی اور عسکری قیادت کی مخلصانہ کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے انہیں خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان نے امن کے فروغ اور تنازعات کے حل کے لیے ہمیشہ مثبت اور تعمیری کردار ادا کیا ہے۔ایرانی سفیر نے پاکستان کی حکومت، پارلیمان اور عسکری قیادت کو کامیاب سفارتکاری پر مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایران کی حکومت اور عوام پاکستان کے مخلصانہ تعاون، خیر سگالی اور امن کے قیام کے لیے ادا کیے گئے مؤثر کردار کو ہمیشہ قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھیں گے۔انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان جنگ بندی اور امن معاہدے کے حصول میں پاکستان کی سیاسی، پارلیمانی، سفارتی اور عسکری قیادت کی کوششیں قابلِ تحسین ہیں اور ان کا کردار خطے میں امن و استحکام کے فروغ کے لیے نہایت اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔ ایرانی سفیر رضا امیری مقدم نے اپنے وفد کے ہمراہ قومی اسمبلی کے اجلاس کی کارروائی دیکھی اور ایوان کی کارروائی کے دوران وزیراعظم پاکستان میاں محمد شہباز شریف، اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق، وزیر دفاع خواجہ محمد آصف اور دیگر اراکین قومی اسمبلی کی جانب سے ایران-امریکہ امن معاہدے سے متعلق خیر مقدمی تاثرات سراہا۔
