Islamabad, June 9, 2026: The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, and the Governor of Balochistan, Mr. Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, called on the Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, today at the Parliament House, Islamabad. Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Mr. Saleem Ahmed, was also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on strengthening coordination, cooperation, and harmony between the Federation and the Province of Balochistan, as well as on other matters of mutual interest. The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in Balochistan, as well as public welfare initiatives, infrastructure development, and matters pertaining to the province’s overall progress and prosperity.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the importance of further strengthening effective communication, mutual trust, and close cooperation between the Federation and Balochistan. He stated that Balochistan holds a pivotal position in Pakistan’s development, prosperity, and stability. He further noted that continuous coordination and cooperation between the Federal and Provincial Governments are essential for addressing the challenges faced by the province, advancing development priorities effectively, and ensuring sustainable solutions to public issues.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, enhancing inter-provincial harmony, and fostering national unity. They also underscored the need for collective efforts to promote public welfare, safeguard national interests, and address the country's overall political situation in a constructive and responsible manner.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Government in promoting peace, stability, development, and public service in Balochistan. He remarked that the province’s sustainable development and prosperity are vital not only for Balochistan but also for the bright future of Pakistan as a whole.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mr. Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti and Governor Balochistan, Mr. Jaffar Khan Mandokhail praised the NA Speaker for extending support for the development and welfare of the people of Balochistan. They also expressed their commitment to further promoting cooperation and collaboration between the Federation and the Province.
