ISLAMABAD, May 13, 2026: Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai calls on Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and discussed matters relating to inter-provincial parliamentary relations, the overall situation in the country, and law and order in Balochistan. The meeting focused, in particular, on the promotion of inter-provincial parliamentary cooperation, institutional strengthening, and enhanced coordination between the legislatures of the federation and the provinces.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that strengthening inter-provincial parliamentary cooperation was essential for institutional stability and improved governance in a democratic system. He said that greater interaction between legislatures not only facilitated the exchange of parliamentary experiences but also helped promote harmony and mutual trust among the federating units. 

 

Highlighting the geographical and economic importance of Balochistan, the Speaker of the National Assembly said that the province’s development and sustainable peace were directly linked to Pakistan’s overall progress. He said that the federal government was taking priority-based measures for the development of Balochistan, including the improvement of infrastructure and the provision of public welfare services. He further said that special focus was being given to education, skills development, and employment opportunities for the youth. He reaffirmed the commitment that institutional cooperation at the federal and provincial levels would be further strengthened.

 

Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai appreciated the federal government’s efforts for development and peace in the province, saying these initiatives were yielding positive results for the people. He said that the promotion of inter-provincial parliamentary cooperation was a vital need of the time as it would help improve harmony and policymaking among the provinces. He expressed the hope that continued liaison between the National Assembly and provincial assemblies would further strengthen the process of development and prosperity in Balochistan.

 

Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, also attended the meeting.

اسلام آباد: 13 مئی 2026: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق سے اسپیکر بلوچستان اسمبلی کیپٹن (ر) عبدالخالق خان اچکزئی نے ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات میں ملکی مجموعی صورتحال، بین الصوبائی پارلیمانی رابطوں کے فروغ اور بلوچستان میں امن و امان کی صورتحال پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے اس موقع پر کہا کہ بین الصوبائی پارلیمانی تعاون کو مضبوط بنانا جمہوری اداروں کے استحکام اور بہتر گورننس کے لیے ناگزیر ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پارلیمانوں کے درمیان روابط کا فروغ نہ صرف تجربات کے تبادلے کا ذریعہ بنتا ہے بلکہ اس سے وفاقی اکائیوں کے درمیان ہم آہنگی اور باہمی اعتماد بھی فروغ پاتا ہے۔ انہوں نے بلوچستان کی جغرافیائی اور معاشی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ صوبے کی ترقی اور پائیدار امن پاکستان کی مجموعی ترقی سے براہِ راست جڑا ہوا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وفاقی حکومت بلوچستان میں ترقیاتی منصوبوں، بنیادی ڈھانچے کی بہتری اور عوامی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لیے ترجیحی بنیادوں پر اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔ نوجوانوں کو تعلیم، ہنرمندی اور روزگار کے بہتر مواقع فراہم کرنے پر بھی خصوصی توجہ دی جا رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ وفاقی اور صوبائی سطح پر ادارہ جاتی تعاون کو مزید مؤثر بنایا جائے گا۔

 

اسپیکر بلوچستان اسمبلی کیپٹن (ر) عبدالخالق خان اچکزئی نے کہا کہ وفاق اور صوبوں کے درمیان رابطوں کا فروغ وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے اور اس سے صوبوں کے درمیان ہم آہنگی اور پالیسی سازی کے عمل میں بہتری آئے گی۔ انہوں نے وفاقی حکومت کی جانب سے بلوچستان میں ترقیاتی اقدامات اور امن و استحکام کے لیے کی جانے والی کوششوں کو سراہا اور کہا کہ ان اقدامات کے مثبت اثرات عوام تک پہنچ رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے اس امید کا اظہار کیا کہ قومی اسمبلی اور صوبائی اسمبلیوں کے درمیان مسلسل رابطوں اور پارلیمانی تعاون سے بلوچستان میں ترقی اور خوشحالی کے عمل کو مزید تقویت ملے گی۔

 

ملاقات میں صوبائی وزیر برائے پبلک ہیلتھ انجینئرنگ سردار عبدالرحمن کھیتران بھی شریک تھے۔
