The Holy month of Ramadan teaches us patience, tolerance, and sacrifice, says Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq

Islamabad,18th February 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah and to nation. He stated that Ramadan is a month of Allah Almighty’s infinite blessings and mercy."This sacred month provides Muslims with a golden opportunity for spiritual purification, self-accountability, and attaining closeness to Allah Almighty," he added.

He said that this holy month practically teaches patience, discipline, tolerance, and empathy for the needy. Fasting promotes piety, compassion, and a sense of responsibility within individuals, encouraging them to contribute to the betterment of society along with self-reform.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has stated that Ramadan conveys the message of self-accountability, ending mutual differences, promoting forgiveness and tolerance, and strengthening social harmony. He emphasized that special attention should be paid to both individual and collective reform during this blessed month to help build an organized, civilized, and welfare-oriented society. He added that Ramadan is a month of sacrifice, generosity, and caring for the underprivileged. Affluent individuals should generously assist the needy, orphans, widows, and deserving families to promote equality, brotherhood, and social justice in society. He said that providing relief to the poor and vulnerable segments of society through joint efforts of the government, welfare organizations, and philanthropists is a collective responsibility.

The Speaker appealed to the public to demonstrate patience, tolerance, and harmony during Ramadan, avoid hoarding and profiteering, and play a positive role in ensuring the availability of essential commodities at reasonable prices. He stated that this sacred month teaches us to adhere to the principles of honesty, justice, transparency, and collective welfare.

He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant Pakistan peace, stability, and prosperity, blesses us with unity and harmony, and grants mutual solidarity and cohesion to the Muslim Ummah.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Ramadan. He stated that the commencement of the blessed and luminous moments of Ramadan is a joyful occasion for the Muslim Ummah. He said that the sacred moments of Ramadan serve as a means of salvation from hell and reflect Allah Almighty’s special mercy and blessings.

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah stated that the month of Ramadan teaches us to adopt noble qualities such as piety, patience, gratitude, sacrifice, and devotion. He said that the month of fasting provides a golden opportunity for character building, spiritual purification, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah Almighty. He added that by helping and serving the needy during Ramadan, we can attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty. This sacred month teaches us to adopt noble human values such as social justice, brotherhood, mutual respect, and service to humanity.

He further stated that Ramadan teaches us sincerity, honesty, tolerance, and avoidance of hatred and prejudice in our words and actions along with devotion to worship. He stressed that every individual should promote unity and play a positive role in the progress and prosperity of the country and nation.

He also appealed to remember Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters in special prayers during the blessed moments of Ramadan. The Deputy Speaker prayed that Allah Almighty grants us the ability to fully benefit from the blessings and mercy of this sacred month and elevates the ranks of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security of the homeland. He also prayed for peace, security, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan.

اسلام آباد، 18 فروری 2026ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے رمضان المبارک کی آمد کے موقع پر اپنے تہنیتی پیغام میں پوری امتِ مسلمہ خصوصاً پاکستانی قوم کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ رمضان المبارک اللہ تعالیٰ کی بے پایاں رحمتوں کا مہینہ ہے۔یہ ماہ مبارک مسلمانوں کو روحانی پاکیزگی، خود احتسابی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے قرب کے حصول کا سنہری موقع فراہم کرتا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ مقدس مہینہ انسان کو صبر و تحمل، نظم و ضبط، برداشت اور ضرورت مندوں کے احساس کا عملی درس دیتا ہے۔ روزہ انسان کے اندر تقویٰ، ہمدردی اور احساسِ ذمہ داری کو فروغ دیتا ہے اور اسے اپنی ذات کے ساتھ ساتھ معاشرے کی بہتری کے لیے کردار ادا کرنے کی ترغیب دیتا ہے۔

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ رمضان المبارک ہمیں اپنی خود احتسابی ، باہمی اختلافات کو ختم کرنے، درگزر اور رواداری کو فروغ دینے اور معاشرتی ہم آہنگی کو مضبوط بنانے کا پیغام دیتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں اس بابرکت مہینے میں انفرادی اور اجتماعی اصلاح پر خصوصی توجہ دینی چاہیے تاکہ ایک منظم، مہذب اور فلاحی معاشرے کی تشکیل ممکن ہو۔انہوں نے کہا کہ رمضان المبارک ایثار، سخاوت اور مستحق طبقات کی دلجوئی کا مہینہ ہے۔ صاحبِ استطاعت افراد کو چاہیے کہ وہ مستحقین، یتیموں، بیواؤں اور نادار خاندانوں کی دل کھول کر مدد کریں تاکہ معاشرے میں مساوات، بھائی چارہ اور سماجی انصاف کو فروغ مل سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت، فلاحی اداروں اور مخیر حضرات کی مشترکہ کاوشوں سے غریب اور کمزور طبقات کو ریلیف فراہم کرنا ہماری اجتماعی ذمہ داری ہے۔

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے عوام سے اپیل کی کہ وہ رمضان المبارک کے دوران صبر، برداشت اور رواداری کا عملی مظاہرہ کریں، ذخیرہ اندوزی اور ناجائز منافع خوری سے مکمل اجتناب کریں اور اشیائے ضرورت کی مناسب قیمتوں پر دستیابی کو یقینی بنانے میں اپنا مثبت کردار ادا کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ مقدس مہینہ ہمیں دیانت، انصاف، شفافیت اور اجتماعی بھلائی کے اصولوں پر کاربند رہنے کا درس دیتا ہے۔

انہوں نے دعا کی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس بابرکت مہینے کے صدقے پاکستان کو امن، استحکام اور خوشحالی عطا فرمائے، ہمیں اتحاد و یگانگت کی دولت سے مالا مال کرے اور امتِ مسلمہ کو باہمی اتفاق و یکجہتی نصیب فرمائے۔

ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفٰی شاہ نے رمضان المبارک کی آمد کے موقع پر پاکستانی قوم اور اُمتِ مسلمہ کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کی ہے۔ڈپٹی اسپیکر نے اپنے تہنیتی پیغام میں کہا کہ رمضان المبارک کی پُرنور اور بابرکت ساعتوں کا آغاز اُمتِ مسلمہ کے لیے ایک پُر مسرت موقع ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ رمضان المبارک کی بابرکت ساعتیں جہنم سے نجات کا ذریعہ ہیں اور یہ مقدس مہینہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی خصوصی رحمتوں اور برکتوں کا مظہر ہے۔

ڈپٹی اسپیکر سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے کہا کہ ماہِ رمضان ہمیں تقویٰ، صبر، شکرگزاری، ایثار اور قربانی جیسے اعلیٰ اوصاف اپنانے کا درس دیتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ماہِ صیام ہمیں اپنے کردار کی اصلاح، روحانی تطہیر اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے اپنے تعلق کو مضبوط کرنے کا سنہری موقع فراہم کرتا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ رمضان المبارک میں ہم معاشرے کے ضرورت مند طبقات کی مدد اور خدمتِ خلق کے ذریعے اللہ تعالیٰ کی خوشنودی حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ یہ مقدس مہینہ ہمیں سماجی انصاف، بھائی چارے، باہمی احترام اور انسانیت کی خدمت جیسے اعلیٰ انسانی اقدار اپنانے کی تلقین کرتا ہے۔

ڈپٹی اسپیکر سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے مزید کہا کہ ماہِ رمضان ہمیں عبادات کے ساتھ ساتھ اپنے قول و فعل میں اخلاص، دیانت داری، برداشت اور نفرت و تعصب سے گریز کرنا سکھاتا ہے۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ ہر فرد کو چاہیے کہ اتحاد و اتفاق کو فروغ دے کر ملک و قوم کی ترقی اور خوشحالی میں اپنا مثبت کردار ادا کرے۔

انہوں نے رمضان المبارک کی رحمتوں و برکتوں سے بھرپور ساعتوں میں فلسطینی اور کشمیری بھائی بہنوں کو خصوصی دعاؤں میں یاد رکھنے کی اپیل کی۔ڈپٹی اسپیکر نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس بابرکت مہینے کی رحمتوں اور برکتوں سے بھرپور استفادہ کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے اور وطنِ عزیز کی سلامتی کے لیے جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کرنے والے شہداء کے درجات بلند فرمائے۔انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے پاکستان کے امن، سلامتی، استحکام اور خوشحالی کے لیے خصوصی دعا بھی کی۔
