NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Congratulates the Nation and Pakistan Navy on Successful Test of LY-80 Surface-to-Air Missile

Islamabad, January 10, 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has congratulated the nation and the engineers & personnel of the Pakistan Navy on the successful test of the LY-80 surface-to-air missile.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid rich tribute to the professional competence, dedication, and technical expertise of the engineers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy, stating that the successful missile test is a clear manifestation of the Pak Navy’s strong and effective air defence system.

NA Speaker remarked that the successful test of the LY-80 missile has further strengthened the country’s defence capabilities and reflects the commendable role being played by the Pakistan Navy in enhancing national defence preparedness.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan’s valiant armed forces have rendered exemplary services to make the country’s defence impregnable and that their professionalism remains a source of pride for the entire nation.

NA Speaker further stated that the successful test of the LY-80 missile stands as practical evidence of the high professional standards and technological expertise of the Pakistan Navy.

The Speaker National Assembly reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared at all times to safeguard the country’s borders and sovereignty.
