Islamabad; Tuesday, 30th April, 2024:  Honourable Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has emphasized the need to further solidify existing fraternal bond between Pakistan and Qatar through expanding parliamentary cooperation, besides deepening ties in other socio-economic sectors. He expressed these views in his meeting with H.E. Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, Ambassador of Qatar, who called on him at Parliament House, today.

Talking to the Ambassador, Speaker National Assembly remarked, "Pakistan cherishes its historic brotherly relations with Qatar and desires them to take  up to new heights through bolstering parliamentary cooperation, expanding economic ties, and furthering people-to-people contacts between the legislatures of both the countries".

Referring to the parliamentary collaboration between the parliaments of both countries, the Speaker noted, " parliamentary diplomacy is quintessential in bringing two nations closer which are already tied in eternal religious and historic bonds". He said that the Pak-Qatar friendship group in the National Assembly of Pakistan would  be fully activated to bring parliaments  and people of both countries closer. During the meeting, he also mentioned the invitation extended to the Speaker of the Shura Council of the State of Qatar.

Expressing his satisfaction over the economic cooperation between Pakistan and Qatar, the Speaker said that investors from Qatar can  benefit from investment opportunities in Pakistan by investing in various sectors especially the energy and manufacturing sectors. He said that both Pakistan and Qatar should take advantage of each other's experiences  for the mutual benefits of the people of two countries.

Ambassador H.E. Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater thanked the Speaker for his remarks and congratulated him on his re-election as Speaker of the National Assembly. He said,"Qatar attaches immense importance to its brotherly relations with Pakistan and  the incumbent leadership of Qatar is keen to further enhance ties with Pakistan". He also reaffirmed  all-out support to Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest including socio-economic uplift of marginalized segments of the society.


 

اسلام آباد;  منگل 30 اپریل 2024: سپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے پاکستان اور قطر کے مابین پارلیمانی و اقتصادی شعبوں میں تعلقات کوفروغ دے کر دوطرفہ تعلقات کو مزید وسعت دینے کی خواہش کا اظہارکیا ہے۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے پاکستان میں قطر کے علی مبارک علی عیسیٰ الخطر سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا جنہوں نے منگل کے روز اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق سے پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس میں ملاقات کی۔

 اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ پاکستان قطر کے ساتھ اپنے تاریخی برادرانہ تعلقات کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان دونوں برادر اسلامی ممالک کے درمیاں عوامی اور اقتصادی  تعاون کو فروغ دے کر دوطرفہ تعلقات کو نئی بلندیوں تک لے جانے کا خواہاں ہے۔

 دونوں ممالک کی پارلیمانوں کے درمیان پارلیمانی تعاون کے حوالے سے بات کرتے ہوئے اسپیکر نے کہا کہ پارلیمانی سفارتکاری کے ذریعے دونوں اقوام جو دائمی، مذہبی، ثقافتی  اور تاریخی رشتوں میں بندھی ہوئی ہیں کو مزید قریب لایا جا سکتا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی قومی اسمبلی میں پاک۔قطر دوستی گروپ کو دونوں ممالک کی پارلیمنٹ اور عوام کو قریب لانے کے لیے فعال کیا جا رہا ہے۔

اسپیکر نے پاکستان اور قطر کے درمیان اقتصادی تعاون پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔انہوں نے قطر کی سرمایہ کار برادری کو اقتصادی شعبوں میں سرمایہ کاری کی دعوت دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان میں توانائی اور مینوفیکچرنگ کے شعبوں میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے کے وافر مواقع موجود ہیں جن سے قطر کے سرمایہ کار استفادہ کر سکتے ہیں۔انہوں نے دونوں ممالک کے مابین پارلیمانی وفود کے تبادلوں کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور قطر  کے اراکین پارلیمنٹ میں باہمی رابطوں کے فروغ سے ایک دوسرے کو سمجھنے اور ایک دوسرے کے تجربات سے مستفید ہونے کا موقع ملے گا۔انہون نے قطر کی شوریٰ کونسل کے اسپیکر کو پارلیمانی وفد کے ہمراہ پاکستان کا دورہ کرنے کی دعوت دی۔

قطرکے سفیر علی مبارک علی عیسیٰ الخطر نے سردار ایاز صادق کو قومی اسمبلی کا دوبارہ سپیکر منتخب ہونے پر مبارکباد دی اور ان کے قطر سے متعلق تاثرات کو سراہا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ قطر پاکستان کے ساتھ اپنے برادرانہ تعلقات کو بہت اہمیت دیتا ہے اور قطر کی موجودہ قیادت پاکستان کے ساتھ تعلقات کو مزید فروغ دینے کی خواہاں ہے۔انہوں نے معاشرے کے پسماندہ طبقات کی سماجی و اقتصادی ترقی سمیت باہمی دلچسپی کے تمام شعبوں میں پاکستان کی ہرممکن حمایت کا بھی اعادہ کیا۔
