Basic qualifications of a Member of the National Assembly are:

• He should be citizen of Pakistan.
• Not less then 25 years of age.
• His name must has be enrolled as a voter in the electoral list.
• He should also fulfill the qualities provided in Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
