Islamabad: March 29, 2014: Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly have strongly condemned the attempt on life of senior Anchorperson of Express TV Raza Rumi.

In their separate statements, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed their grave concern and shock over attack on Raza Rumi’s car in which his driver Ghulam Mustafa lost his life. They said that such ghastly attack could not deter media persons from raising voice against terrorism and injustice. They called for thorough investigation into the incident so that culprits behind this cowardly act could be apprehended and brought to justice. They express their sincere condolence to the family the Driver Ghulam Mustafa, while wishing fast recovery to the Raza Rumi and his guard.
