Sunday, 11th August, 2019

Islamabad 11th August, 2019: Speaker National Assembly Mr. Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri has extended their warm felicitations to Muslim Ummah and the fellow countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha.

In their separate messages, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker said that this Eid reminds us the sacrifice laid down by Hazrat Ibrahim A.S., when he was about to slaughter his son Hazrat Ismail A.S. on Allah’s orders.

“This Eid also reminds us of the heavy sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people for their freedom”, the Speaker said. He further reiterated to pledge his support for the freedom and struggle of the Kashmir people as the Indian parliament struck off the article 370 and 35-A from its constitution ignoring all international norms of decency and displaying true image of Hindu obduracy and obstinacy.

Asad Qaiser further said that Eid-ul-Adha and 14th August the independence day of Pakistan has great resemblance, as on 14th August huge sacrifices were made by the people of Pakistan during migration to their homeland. He said that on this festive occasion we should not forget the poor, needy and specially the Kashmiri people who were struggling for their right to self-determination.

The Deputy Speaker Qasim khan Suri said that Pakistan always values the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people for their homeland. He said that Eid-Ul-Adha gives us the lesson of sacrifice, and each Pakistani is ready to sacrifice his life for the cause of Kashmir.

“Let’s celebrate this day by showing solidarity with Kashmiri people, who are sacrificing their lives for their right of self-determination”, Deputy Speaker said.

The Speaker Mr. Asad Qaiser and the Deputy Speaker MR. Qasim Khan Suri both prayed to Allah to guide all the Muslims to tread right path and help them follow the true spirit of Islam.
