Islamabad March 22, 2019;  Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that talent and potential of youth in Pakistan can be utilized for steering the country out of socio economic issues successfully. He said the youth political maturity can ensure bright future of Pakistan and the youth can bring the real positive change. “the inclusion of Intellectual touch for training the political young politicians is essential for youth political maturity  and it will only be possible through seminars, group studies, research orientation and provision of political opportunities to them” he said. He expressed these views while addressing the commencement ceremony of Young Parliament’s Fellowship program organized by PILDAT in Islamabad on Friday.

The speaker said that determining the goals above vested interests and above political affiliations would make Pakistan prosperous and progressive.  He also stressed the need to fulfill targets set by youth with commitment, sincerity and sustained efforts as it is not the time to think what Pakistan has given us rather it is time to pay back. He also expressed his believe in the potentials of youth and said that irrespective of economic background all youth can contribute in the development of Pakistan. “The political grooming of the youth will ensure the sincere and mature political leadership in the country”, he added. He stressed for the inclusion of young political workers in all political parties. He urged the young politicians to come forward in positive political activities and serve this nation whole heartedly.

The Speaker urged the young politician’s fellowship participants to serve for the country above personal interest and they all must believe in the power of struggle. He also expressed his desire that such fellowship programs should be the permanent feature in the PILDAT. He appreciated the efforts of PILDAT for promoting democracy and organizing fellowship programs for the young politicians and hoped that the members of this fellowship programs will learn a lot which would help them in real political life.

Mr. Ahmed Bilal Mehboob President PILDAT expressed his gratitude for the speaker for participating in the Commencement Ceremony despite his lot of commitments. He said that it is first ever programme for training the Youth Politicians as this fellowship program includes 27 members of 11 political parties from all over the country.  He also presented a shield to the Speaker for his efforts to support PILDAT consolidate the democracy in the Pakistan.
