Islamabad; December 26, 2018: Asad Qaiser Speaker and Qasim Khan Suri Acting Speaker, National Assembly have condemned the incident of firing by unknown assailant resulting assassination former Member National Assembly Mr. Ali Raza Abidi.

In their separate statements, the Speaker and Acting Speaker condemned this incident of firing and expressed their heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mr. Ali Raza Abidi. They said that the elements involved in this incident of wanted to Sabotage peace in Karachi. The Speaker and Acting Speaker asked the Law Enforcing Agencies to arrest the miscreants involved in this heinous act and bring them to justice. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to bereaved family to bear this irreparable lose with equanimity.
