Political Forces Should Join Hands to Steer Out The Country From Challenges: NA Speaker

Islamabad:  October 29, 2018. The President of Pakistan Muslim League and former Prime Minister Ch. Shujat Hussain called on Speaker National Assembly at Parliament House on Monday. Besides, newly elected Member of National Assembly Ch. Munis Ellahi and Ch. Salik Hussain Federal Minister for Housing and Member National Assembly Ch. Hussain Ellahi were also present on the occasion. The matters pertaining to overall economic situation and mutual interests were discussed in the meeting. 

While congratulating Ch. Munis Ellahi and Ch. Salik, the Speaker said that there election was the evidence of trust and confident of their constituents reposed in the leadership of Muslim League. He said that Ch. Shujat Hussain has a big name in the politics of Pakistan. His politics based on principles and respect to others and he always given priority to national interests upon personal interests. 

The Speaker said that the country was facing challenges like poverty, unemployment, water scarcity, corruption, terrorism and weak economy and the political forces of the country need to joined hands to steer out the country of these challenges.  “It is my desire that issues of national importance to be discussed in the National Assembly”, he added.

The President Pakistan Muslim League and former Prime Minister Ch. Shujat Hussain thanked the Speaker and appreciated his role to run the proceeding of the House amicably. He said that Muslim League was stood with present Government to take the country out of crises.  He further said that Pakistan Muslim League believe in politics of values instead of power and has always given priority to national interests.  He said that due to abortive policies of previous Governments, the country was facing economic problems at present. He appreciated the steps taken by the present Government to steer out the country from economic crises.
