Speaker NA has Urged the Nation to Forge Unity Among Their Ranks

Islamabad, September 11, 2018:   Asad Qaiser, Speaker National Assembly has urged the nation to forge unity among their ranks, shun all types of differences and supplement government efforts for ensuring peace in the country during the Holy month of Moharram. He urged in his message on the advent of Moharram-ul-Haram being observed throughout the Muslim world tomorrow.

He said that Islam is the religion of peace, love and tolerance and abhor all forms of sectarianism, extremism and prejudices. The Speaker called upon Ulema and Religious Scholars to play their due role and influence to create religious harmony and to spread the true message of Islam.

 "Let us make a resolve today to give up our differences and get united to develop comprehensive strategy for combating terrorism and eliminating sectarianism, militancy and extremism from the country" he said.

On this occasion the Deputy Speaker National Assembly Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri has said that we should follow the true spirit of Muharram ul Harram which is sacrifice and religious tolerance, part of our lives and refrain from all kinds of prejudice and class differences.
