The 37th meeting of the Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan was held today in Parliament House, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Malik Ibrar Ahmed, MNA.
   
2.According to the agenda, the Secretary (Education), Government of Gilgit Baltistan gave a detailed briefing regarding the challenges, development activities and reforms in the education sectors to the Committee. During the meeting, the Members of the Committee asked several questions to understand the issues presented by the Secretary (Education), Government of Gilgit Baltistan. The Chairman while concluding the meeting directed the concern authorities to make such comprehensive plans in education sector which can increase the capacity of the common people resulting in improvement in their living standard so that whole nation can progress simultaneously.

3.The meeting was attended by the Hon. Members of the Committee namely; Mr. Khalil George, Ch. Abid Raza, Malik Abdul Ghaffar Dogar, Sardar Mumtaz Khan, Mian Imtiaz Ahmed, Mrs. Shamas-un-Nissa, Mr. Junaid Akbar, Syed Waseem Hussain, Molvi Agha Muhammad, MNAs and Senior Officers of the Ministry of KA&GB, Government and Gilgit Baltistan Government.
