NA Standing Committees on Climate Change meets

A meeting of the Standing Committee on Climate Change was held on 9th January, 2018 in Committee Room of Environment Protection Agency, Quetta.
The Standing Committee discussed the matter regarding cutting of precious 800 years old Juniper trees in Quetta and recommended that Ministry of Climate Change should work with the forest department to protect the old and precious trees.
The Standing Committee further discussed the matter regarding protection of endangered species of plants and animals, particularly those found out at the mountains of Ziarat, Khuzdar and Toba Achakzai, Balochistan.
The Standing Committee also constituted Sub-Committee to look into the matter of addition of the poisonous substance to water in the Rawal Dam, Islamabad. The Sub-Committee consisting on the following Members.
