The Standing Committee on Defence Production met today i.e 28th December, 2017, under the Chairmanship of Khawaja Sohail Mansoor, in Committee Room No. 07 at 2:00 p.m. in Parliament House, Islamabad.
 
2.         The Committee offered Fateha on the Martyred of Army Public School (Peshawar) and Pakistani soldiers, recently Martyred at Line of Control. The Chairman, HIT informed the Committee about the working and production capacity of the HIT and its organizational structure.
 
3.         The Committee highly appreciated the efforts made by HIT, Taxila regarding enhancement of its production capacity. The Committee also admired the role of Chairman, HIT under the overall supervision of Minister for Defence Production on making this Institution a pride of Pakistan Defence Industry.   
 
4.         Meeting was attended by Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, MNA, Mr. Muhammad Moeen Wattoo, MNA, Mr. Bhawan Das, MNA, Ms. Asyia Nasir, Ms. Amra Khan, MNA, Mr. Bilal Rehman, MNAs and besides the senior officers of the MoDP.
