A meeting of Standing Committee on Government Assurances was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Muhammad Afzal Khan, Chairman, Standing Committee on Government Assurances to discuss Assurance number 512 about making of horrible example to the responsible who did an immoral act with a young girl admitted in I.C.U. of PIMS, Islamabad, Assurance number 446 about the gap in standard education between Public and Private School and the payment of honoraria to the employees of different departments.

on the request of the representative of PIMS. The Committee directed that the Voice Chancellor of PIMS or such senior officer of PIMS should attend the next meeting along-with the SOPs of the Hospital.

The Committee observed that the reply of the Capital Administration and Development Division was unsatisfactory. The Committee showed its displeasure over the poor performance of education department. The Committee directed that CA&DD should come up with complete details in next meeting.

The Standing Committee on Government Assurances constituted a Sub-Committee headed by Honourable ShahzadiUmerzadiTiwana consisted upon Malik Ibrar Ahmed, MNA and Abdul Majeed Khan Khankhail, MNA. The Committee disposed of fifty Assurances, whose implementation report had been received to the National Assembly Secretariat.

The meeting was attended by Ms.Shahzadi Umerzadi Tiwana, MNA, Sardar Muhammad IrfanDogar, MNA, Chaudhry Muhammad MunirAzhar, MNA and Syed Sajid Mehdi, MNAand severalsenior civil officials were also present in the meeting
