Islamabad (May 11, 2017) We are committed to address the issue of affectees of E-12. These views were expressed by the Chairman Standing Committee on Government Assurances in the meeting of the Standing Committee, while he was presiding over the meeting of the Committee. It was briefed to the Standing Committee that those, who were allotted plots about thirty years ago, have died or have become old citizens. The allottees are looking towards the government for the possession of the developed plots.Similarly, the Committee was informed that, the old villagers were also not properly compensated and their problems were also not addressed, since 80’s. Hence there are two kinds of affectees, one who spent millions of rupees for purchase of plots and one who gave land and houses to CDA but they did not receive proper compensation. So these people could not shift to the new places. It was informed to the Committee that some of them were properly paid monies and plots against their lands and houses. So, they shifted in 1987 and settled in new locations. Those who could not shift, due to one reason or the other, their grandsons have been grown up, now. So, the villagers are suffering a lot. The Committee directed to solve the problems of all the affectees by developing Sector E-12, without further delay. The Committee was informed that, with the exception to the Council of Islamic Ideology and SAFRON, the Ministries and Divisions were not sending briefs in Urdu. The Committee took its very serious notice. The Committee all of the Ministries/Divisions to send briefs in Urdu too, otherwise, the responsible ones will be held answerable.  The meeting of the Committee was attended by Honorable Chairman Mr. AfzalKhokhar, Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, Malik Ibrar Ahmed, Mr. Rajab Ali Khan Baloch, Moulana Muahmmad Khan Sherani and one mover Mr. Sher Akbar Khan MNA, Secretary Capital Administration Development Division (CADD), Member CDA and several other senior civil offices participated in the meeting.
