Standing Committee on Science and Technology Consider the Report of Ministry to Stop the Sale of Sub-Standard Edible Items and Performance of National Institute of Oceanography

Islamabad, 04th May, 2017: The Standing Committee expressed its displeasure for not providing the Report of the Ministry regarding to stop the sale of sub-standard edible items for advance study of the Members. The Committee was of the view that they should have to prepare regarding agenda item considering the sensitivity of the issue therefore, the Committee decided to defer the agenda items till its next meeting. The Committee directed the Ministry to submit the Brief atleast 03 days before the meeting for advance study of the Members. The meeting of the Standing Committee on Science and Technology held today in Ministry of Science and Technology under the Chairmanship of Ch. Tariq Bashir Cheema, MNA.

MNAs, Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf, Chaudhary Armaghan Subhani, Ms. Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, Ms. Musarat Rafique Mahesar, Mr. Aftab Shahban Mirani, Ms. Shamas-un-Nisa, Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan, Mr. Aqib Ullah Khan, Mr. Lal Chand Malhi, Mr. Mehboob Alam, Ms. Aliya Kamran, Ms. Shahjahan Muneer Mangrio and Engineer Usman Khan Tarakai attended the meeting, besides officials of the Ministry.
