Islamabad; January 13, 2017, Meeting of the Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat held in Committee Room of Cabinet Division,  Cabinet Block, Islamabad this Morning with Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan, MNA in the chair.

The Committee expressed grave concern over the obsolete condition of machinery and lack of trained staff of Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP) and directed that government may inject PCP to make it profitable unit and to meet the requirements of the country as well.  The Committee directed that Cabinet division may move a summary regarding provision of financial assistance to PCP so that Committee could take them at appropriate forum for their amicable solution.

The Committee expressed strong dissatisfaction over the poor result of CSS exams, 2016 as only 2% students were able to pass the exams. The Committee directed that Federal Public Service Commission may determine the reasons of decline in percentage of pass students  and  come up with the proposals so that talented students could pass the CSS exams in future .
