The meeting of the Standing Committee on Communications held today in the Parliament House, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sufyan Yusuf, MNA.

2.        The Chairman, NHA informed the Committee that the 60% work on the Lowari Tunnel was completed and it will be opened for the public till March, 2017. Moreover, the strategy will be devised to keep it open during the winter season to facilitate the locals.

3.        The Committee directed the National Highways Authorities to resolve the issue of damaged roads during the construction of M-4 in the constituency of Malik Abdul Ghafar Dogar, MNA, amicably.

4.        The Standing Committee constituted the Sub-Committee under the convener ship of Chaudhry Khalid Javaid Warraich, MNA regarding the issue of damaged roads in the province of Punjab.          

5.        MNAs Chaudhry Khalid Javaid Warraich, Dr. Darshan, Mr. Najaf Abbas Sial, Mr. Nazir Ahmed Bughio, Mr. Salim Rehman, Mr. Ramesh Lal, Engr. Hamid-ul-Haq Khalil, Mr. Muhammad Muzammil Qureshi, Sahibzada Tariq Ullah, Ms. Naseema Hafeez Panezai, Engr. Usman Khan Tarakai, Ms. Shahjehan Muneer Mangrio and Malik Abdul Ghafar Dogar, mover of the Question attended the meeting.
