Islamabad; August 8, 2016: The House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly met in Parliament House, today with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the Chair to further discuss the business for the current Session of the National Assembly.

It has been decided in the Committee that current session of the National Assembly will be continued till 17th August, 2016 The Committee also decided that on 10th August 2016 will be observed as  69th Anniversary of the constitutional Assembly of Pakistan and Members, will deliver speeches during the Session on said day in this regard. It is pertinent to mention that the  first Session of the constitutional Assembly of Pakistan was held on 10th August, 1947 in Karachi . The Committee also condemned the bomb blast at Civil Hospital, Quetta and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.   

The meeting was attended by the Mr. Zahid Hamid, Minister for Law & Justice, Rana Tanveer Hussain Minister for Defence Production and Science & Technology, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, MNAs; Syed Naveed Qamar, Dr. Shireen Mehrunissa Mazari, Sheikh Salahuddin, Al-Hajj Shah Jee Gul Afridi and Sahibzada Tariq Ullah
