NA Acting Speaker Directs the Security Agencies to Investigate the Matter of Break of Ventilator at The Flat of Sassui Palijo at Parliament Lodges and Submit its Report Within in 24 Hour

Islamabad July 19, 2016:  The Acting Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi has visited the Parliament Lodges to inspect the flat of Senator Sessui Palijo after the news telecasted by the different TV channels about the incident of theft at her flat.  The Acting Speaker met with Senator and inquire about the details of  incident.  Informing about the details of the Senator told that she was in her native place in Sindh for the last one month and today when she returned to |Islamabad she found that a ventilator of  her bed room has broken and papers were scattered on the floor.  She denied the news telecasted by electronic media regarding theft of valuables in her flat.

The Acting Speaker inspected the place of incident and directed the Security Agencies and  CDA to investigate the  matter and submit its report within 24 Hour.  He also directed DSP Security to submit the report of incident of theft in the flat of Talal Chaudhry, MNA along with report of recent incident. He said that no compromise on the security of the Parliament Lodges would be tolerated.  He directed for fool proof security arrangements at Parliament Lodges. 

He instructed the Director Parliament Lodges to install iron grills on all windows and ventilators of   family suites of Parliament Lodges. He also directed to ensure that all security cameras installed at Parliament Lodges to be functional.  The Acting Speaker also expressed his reservation on the cleanliness condition of Parliament Lodges. 

The DSP Security Parliament Lodges informed the Acting Speaker about the details of security measures taken by Islamabad Police in Parliament Lodges.
