Mr. Sartaj Aziz briefed the Parliamentarians

The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Standing Committee on Defence  assembled together along with the Movers of Adjourment Motion were briefed on the drone attack in Baluchistan resulting the killing of Mullah Akhtar Mansoor, by the Advisor to PM,  Secretary Foreign Affairs and Secretary Defence during the in-camera meeting held today in the Parliament House Islamabad. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Chairman S.C on Foreign Affairs and Sheikh Rohail Asghar,Chairman S.C on Defence.

During the meeting the Members were briefed about the overall situations in the wake of the recent drone attack. The Members representing different parties asked many questions on the issue which were answered by the relevant authorities accordingly.

The Members who attended the meeting are: Sahibzada Muhammad Nazeer Sultan, Ch. Salman Hanif Khan, Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar, Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi, Dr. Shireen Mehrunnisa Mazari, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar, Ms. Naeema Kishwar Khan and Mr. Mahmood Khan Achakzai. Members of the S.C on Defence also attended the meeting. Mover of Adjourment, consisting of party leader namely Mr. Sher Akbar Khan, Dr. Nafisa Shah, Maulana Amir Zaman and Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and other hon. Parliamentarians were also present in the meeting.
