Islamabad, the 13^th May, 2016: The Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reform met today under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, MNA.

The Chairman WAPDA assured the Committee that the report of embezzlements in Mangla Dam Raising Project would be submitted before the Committee within two weeks.  

The Committee showed dissatisfaction over the performance of NESPAK. The Secretary KA& GB assured the Committee that the water supply and sewerage scheme Mirpur city must be completed this year.

The Committee was informed that the construction of Rathous Haryam Bridge acrros Reservior Channel on Mirpur Islamgarh Road delay due to the faulty design.

MNAs, Mr. Nadeem Abbas Rabaira, Ms. Shazia Farid, Mr. Junaid Akbar, Mr. Sher Akber Khan and Mr. Iftikhar-ud-Din attended the meeting, besides officials of Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform.
