Islamabad, the 25th April, 2016: The Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reforms met today under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, MNA.

The Committee considered in depth the alleged irregularities in the Mangla Dam Raising Project and directed the General Manager Mangla to come up with complete documentary evidences in the next meeting. The committee took the notice of absence of Secretary Wapda and directed that the Secretary Wapda and G.M NESPAK attend the next meeting.

The committee recommended that Ministry of Planning, Development and Reforms finalized the PID Draft Act 2010 at the earliest.
