NA Speaker Greets Hindu Community On Deewali

Islamabad, November 11, 2015:Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has greeted the Hindus across the world and in particular Hindu community of Pakistan on the auspicious occasion of Deewali. In his message on the eve of jubilant Hindu festival of light and colors, he extended his warm wishes and said that this festival aims to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.

On this occasion, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid tribute to Hindu community in Pakistan and said that Hindus in Pakistan have reflected strong commitment to their motherland and contributed in the development and progress of the country. He said that aside from social, educational and development sector, Hindus in Pakistan have rendered great services in the constitutional and political landscape in Pakistan as well.

He called for strengthening inter-faith harmony and tolerance in Pakistan and expressed firm resolve of the Government to continue fighting against religious apartheid and racial elements in the society.
