It is reported that the 19th meeting of Standing Committee on Commerce has been held today dated 28th August, 2015 in the TDAP Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, Finance & Trade Centre, Shara-e-Faisal, Karachi under the Chairmanship of Mr. Siraj Muhammad Khan, MNA to discuss the details of TADAP ongoing activities and its expenditure/outcomes as per noticed agenda dated 13th Aug, 2015.

Ministry of Commerce subordinate institution Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s Chief Executive, pointed out the causes of decreasing trade presently. He said that the prices of international market has been reduced; that is why, our many exporters have been stopped their trade, further, the electricity short fall is also one of the major case of reduction.

The Hon. Chairman and Members asked many trade related questions and also delivered their directions & suggestions, those were positively acknowledged by the Authority. Then, the Committee proceeded to Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Karachi as it was scheduled between Hon. Chairman of Standing Committee on Commerce and Chairman, Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Karachi. The Committee listen their issues/problems and delivered their suggestions. 

Hon. M.N.A Choudhary Asad-ur-Rehman, Mian Muhammad Rasheed, Mr. Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, Mr. Nazir Ahmed Bughio, Makhdoom Syed Ali Hassan Gillani, Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, Dr. Mehreen Razaque Bhutto, Ms. Shazia Marri, Ms. Mussrat Ahmad Zeb and Ms. Sajida Begum attended the meeting beside Officials of the Ministry of Commerce and its subordinate Organization TDAP.
