Islamabad: May 9, 2015, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has directed Secretary Interior and IGP Sind to provide adequate security to former Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan and MNA Dr. Fehmida Mirza and her family. The Speaker has given these instructions in response of a letter addressed to him by Former Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza.

In a letter to the Secretary Interior and IGP Sind, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq instructed Secretary Interior and IGP Sind to make proper action for the appropriate security to Dr. Fehmida Mirza and her family. The speaker also written that they would submit a report in this regard. He further said that as the custodian of the House it is my responsibility to make necessary arrangement for the security of all members despite he or she relates to any political party.

Earlier a letter addressed to the Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Dr. Fehmida Mirza said that she and her family are very much concerned for our security and being the custodian of the House you are responsible to make sure for the security of all members of National Assembly.
