Islamabad: May 1, 2015; Imam e Kaaba Sheikh Khalid Al- Ghamdi has departed from Pakistan after completion his nine-day historic visit to the country, today.

Acting Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi was present at Islamabad Airport to see Imam e Kaaba off.

During his visit to Parliament House, Speaker, National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq called on Imam-e-Ka,aba Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamdi. Parliamentary heads in the National Assembly also called on Imam e Kaaba.

Imam-e-Kaaba also witnessed the proceedings of the Session of National Assembly.

Imam-e-Kaaba led the Maghrib prayer at the Parliament House. Parliamentarians, journalists, officers and the large number of staff of Parliament House offered prayer behind the Imam-e-Kaaba.

During his stay, Imam e Kaaba met President Mamnoon Hussain, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and leaders of the political parties of Pakistan; and also engaged with people from a wide spectrum of society.

Imam e Kaaba Sheikh Khalid Al- Ghamdi led Jumma Prayer at Shah Faisal Mosque where hundreds of thousand Namazis were present.
