Islamabad November 29, 2014: Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi have strongly condemned the assassination of JUI Secretary General Sindh and former Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro in Larkana, today. They termed it an act of terrorism and an attempt to disrupt the peace in the country.

 

In their separate condolence messages to his family, the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker expressed their profound grief and sorrow over his death. They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.

 

They said that he was a statesman who rendered valuable contributions in legislative business during his tenure as Member, of the Senate. They said that the culprits involved in the tragic incident should be apprehended and taken to task.
