The 56 member delegations of National Management College Call on Speaker NA

Islamabad the 29th October, 2014. The 56 member delegations of National Management College comprising of Senior Officer Government of Pakistan under going training in the National Management College called on the Honour’able Speaker National Assembly today. The delegation comprised of officers belonging to various occupational groups. 

In detailed briefing to the delegation the Speaker apprised them about the new initiative taken by the National Assembly Secretariat including Self Audit, Capacity Building and Energy Audit of the Secretariat.

There is complete ban on purchase of new furniture, vehicle and others equipment in order to save hard earned money of tax payers the Speaker informed.

Austerity measure including introduction of Solar Energy with the help of Chinese Government and project of going paperless with EU grant will be introduced in the next six months.

In order to build capacity the National Assembly has hired local constant to train National Assembly staff in legislative drafting.

From 2015 the University College and special parliamentary study in order to educate the young generations about the Parliamentary affairs said Speaker.

Screens will be placed for member of the National Assembly Hall for access to relevant information including daily Legislative Business. Honable Speaker also informed that all future recruitment will be through Federal Public Service Commission.

The National Assembly has 88th Friendship group and parliamentary diplomacy brought visits of Speakers of Germany, Saudi Arabia, China, Sudan, and Iraq.  Sardar Ayaz Sadaq, very proudly announced that Commonwealth Parliamentary Association will hold it next annual meeting in Pakistan, Earlier Pakistan was elected the Chairman for next year.

The Speaker in the conclusion invite the participants to consult the Annual Report of the National Assembly and provide valuable feedback Mr. Ismail Quershi, Rector  (NMC)  the thanked Honour’able Speaker National Assembly for hospitality
