NA Speaker Felicitates Chinese At 65th Anniversary Of The Founding Of The Peoples Republic Of China

Islamabad; September 30, 2014:  The Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Pakistan & China have stood together as neighbours and friends in every crisis and at every change in the international and regional situations. He said this while talking at 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the Peoples Republic of China, at Chinese Embassy, Islamabad.

The Speaker said that the relationship between Pakistan and China represent a model for co-existence of two countries with different ideologies, political systems and cultural backgrounds. He said that both the countries are averse to foreign aggression and both have respect for each other’s sovereignty.

The speaker said that the last 65 years of our relations have therefore, been a step by step development of confidence, mutual benefit, regional stability and inter-dependence for our common good and what is more, today, this strategic partnership is seen as a major factor of stability in the region. The Speaker said that both China and Pakistan could enrich their experiences by enhancing exchange of Parliamentary delegations between the two countries. He termed the Chinese model of development worth emulation for other developing countries. 

The Speaker said that it was not the 65th anniversary of China’s founding but also the 65th anniversary of our deeply rooted friendship.  The Speaker congratulated Government and People of China on 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the Peoples Republic of China on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan.
