The National Assembly shall meet on the twenty-first day following the day on which a general election to the Assembly is held (May 11, 2013), unless sooner summoned by the President. [Article 91(2)]

PRIME MINISTER / LEADER OF THE HOUSE

The President shall call the member of the National Assembly to assume the office of the Prime Minister who was elected by the members of the National Assembly, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.

The member called upon by the President shall, before entering upon the office, make before the President oath.

"Leader of the House" means the Prime Minister.

The Honourable Raja Pervez Ashraf was sworn in as 26th Prime Minister of Pakistan on June 22, 2012.
