ADJOURNMENT MOTIONS
Members may often request the Speaker to adjourn the House to consider a question of public importance. By moving the adjournment motion, they try to impress upon the Presiding Officer that their concern regarding a particular issue, justifies that the National Assembly adjourns or stops its normal working and considers the matter which is being raised.
